Location: Greater Cincinnati Area, Ohio
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Daytime Hours
Setting: Pediatric Schools & Outpatient Private Clinic
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality pediatric occupational therapy services across school and outpatient clinic settings in the greater Cincinnati area.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience and a strong interest in supporting children through individualized evaluation and treatment. Experience with Ayres Sensory Integration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide occupational therapy services within regulatory guidelines and applicable policies and procedures.

• Establish and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with children and their families.

• Schedule and coordinate client visits with appropriate staff, clients, and families.

• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and other required clinical information accurately and timely.

• Provide individualized treatment based on each child's needs and goals.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy license in Ohio and/or Kentucky , depending on assignment.

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience .

• Experience with Ayres Sensory Integration is preferred .

• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively with children, families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Reliable transportation may be required for certain assignments.

• Ability to climb stairs and safely assist with client transfers.

• Ability to carry up to 35 lbs. and assist with transfers of clients requiring moderate to maximum assistance.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday

• Daytime schedule; start times may vary depending on the assignment.

• Depending on the setting, schedules may range from approximately 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM .

• No regular weekend, night, or on-call requirements.

Patient Population & Caseload

• Primarily pediatric patients .

• Clinic population: approximately 3-10 years old .

• School assignments: K-12 students .

• Typical clinic treatment sessions are approximately one child per hour .

• Patient ratio is generally 1:1 , with potential opportunities for summer group sessions.
