Job Details Job Location: Congress Hall Hotel - Cape May, NJ 08204 Salary Range: $9.00 - $10.00 Hourly Position Overview Provides nail care, waxing and sales. Will assist in maintaining a safe, clean and well‑stocked work environment, an adequate inventory of massage supplies and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Pay Rate: $9.00-$10.00/hr, plus 30% commission. Responsibilities Ability to perform natural nail care and waxing services Will attend regularly scheduled training, continuing education and spa meetings Ensures that each guest experiences the highest standards of hospitality and service during their visit to Sea Spa, e.g. grooming, use of language, greeting guests properly, facility cleanliness, room set up at optimal image and function capacity Reads each client’s intake form and fills out after treatment (what treatment they received and any enhancements) Fills out client product recommendation form Maintains the treatment area in a neat professional manner including stocking products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization. Replaces nail polish to the shelf so it’s ready for the next client Assists Spa in activities including staff meetings, promotions, clean‑up and housekeeping duties Contributes to self‑marketing strategies Assists with folding of all linens used in treatment rooms and locker rooms Arrives fifteen (15) minutes prior to scheduled work time and may be required to stay fifteen (15) minutes later beyond work schedule if still with client Conducts nail and waxing services as listed in the Spa brochure and Spa Menu unless otherwise indicated by Spa Manager Maintains and increases knowledge of nail services by sharing technique skills with fellow staff during in‑house instruction, and education/training classes Maintains a professional, well‑groomed appearance; provided uniforms must be worn at all times in the Spa and must be laundered and pressed Assists with projects or in other areas as required Works effectively with co‑workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Must have a genuine willingness to provide uncompromising service to the guests, superior nail care knowledge and an ability to handle stress and strong work ethic Must also present a professional personal appearance according to Cape Resorts standards Must have excellent customer service skills Must be a team player and have flexibility Must have ability to retail home‑care products Minimum Qualifications A current valid NJ State massage license required Minimum of 2 years of previous massage therapy experience This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an employee in this position may be asked to perform from time to time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
