Keep reading…A day in the life…Wondering what a day in the life of an RN, LPN, or CMA in Internal Medicine at The Iowa Clinic might look like?Arrive at work in the morning – no night shifts here!Enjoy a set work schedule, Monday through Friday standard clinic hours, 8:00am - 4:30pm.Provides professional nursing services for patients assigned to Dr. Poudyal, following established nursing practice standards and medical office procedures.Conducts comprehensive assessments of patient's care needsObtaining prior authorizations, room patients, take vitals, and Phlebotomy as needed.Assists provider(s) with patient triage, identifies nursing diagnoses or problem lists, and formulates an initial plan of care based on assessment dataSpend enough time with your patients to listen to them and get to know themReturn patient calls and ensure all patients feel valued and cared forLeave in the evening – hooray for working standard clinic hours!This job might be for you if…QualificationsA desire to find a meaningful, fulfilling careerKnowledge of nursing techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments.Exceptional patient skillsThe ability to prepare and maintain recordsEffective communication skills (written and verbal)A positive and team-oriented attitudeAbility to assist providers in a professional mannerRequired LicensesIowa RN license, CMA (AAMA), or LPN License required.Bonus points if…You love exceeding people's expectationsYou enjoy having fun where you workFinding meaningful connections is what you live forKnow someone else who might be a great fit for this role?
