Fabrication Drill Operator

SUMMARY:

Working as a member of the Fabrication Dept, the Fabrication position is responsible for the cutting, bending, sanding, and drilling various parts for pontoon assembly.

There are two levels of Production Worker: Production Worker I and II determined by an individual's specialized skills, abilities, previous work experience, certification and / or education, and ability to perform multiple tasks across the fabrication department.


Individuals in this role must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced and team-focused environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use
• Maintaining equipment and machinery so they canoperatesafely
• Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
• Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed
• Reporting safety hazards within the work environment
• Be able to stand forlong periodsoftime
• Be able to lift 50 LBS or more with assisted teamlift
• Be able to identify/verifyparts

• Preparing skids of parts for shipment
• Cut, Shear, Saw, Sand, Drill, and Form Parts

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Previousfabrication experiencepreferred
• Experience with shop tools and equipmentrequired.
• Ability to read prints and drawings.
• Great organizational skills.
• The ability tomaintainprofessionalism under pressure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
