Virtua Health – One to One Observer Location: Mount Holly - 175 Madison Avenue Remote Type: On-Site Employment Type: Employee Employment Classification: Regular Time Type: Part time Work Shift: Night Shift - 12 Hr (United States of America) Total Weekly Hours: 24 Job Summary The purpose of the One to One Observer is to provide personal constant observation of a patient. This position will also communicate with and support the healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). This position will also maintain and demonstrate high standards of professional ethics. Position Responsibilities Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment. Provides restraint care to patients in restraints. Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately. Assists in orientation of healthcare team. Other duties as assigned. Position Qualifications / Experience Required Must have strong communication skills. Required Education High School diploma or GED. Training / Certifications / Licensure Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory. Hourly Rate $17.30 - $20.67. The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
