49th Street Liquor in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Liquor Store Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, accurately process sales transactions, assist with stocking merchandise, and help maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service
• Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments accurately
• Verify customer age and identification in accordance with state and local laws
• Assist customers in locating products and answering basic questions
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items
• Follow company policies regarding alcohol sales and store security
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
• Must be at least 21 years old.
