Psychiatric NP - MAT & Interventional Psych | Outpatient 3 Day Week | Benefits

A founder-led outpatient addiction and mental health practice opening in Palm Beach County, Florida is seeking an experienced PMHNP — or a strong medical/primary care NP with psychiatric exposure — for a part-time float role serving as the medical complement to the Lead NP. This Medicaid-forward, trauma-informed practice blends psychiatric medication management, MAT, Spravato under REMS, and TMS for high-acuity, underserved, and substance use populations across Palm Beach County. Starting at 3 days/week with a clear growth path to full-time, Spanish or Haitian Creole language skills are a meaningful asset. Key Responsibilities Provide medical-focused care including physicals, ongoing medical follow-up, comorbidity management, and medical-clearance support Continue MAT for established patients and support psychiatric care as needed Cover the floor on days the Medical Director is not on-site, maintaining panel continuity Manage daily visit volume — lighter at opening, ramping over time Complete clinical notes within 48–72 hours of each encounter Lean on Medical Director and Lead NP for complex psychiatric cases Qualifications Active DEA registration (required) PMHNP with primary care experience — ideal candidate profile Strong medical or primary care NP background also considered 1–5 years of experience; seasoned enough for high-acuity, underserved, and substance use populations Hospital and PHP exposure preferred over new graduate Comfortable working with substance use disorder populations Spanish or Haitian Creole language skills a meaningful asset MSN or DNP from accredited program required Schedule & Compensation Part-time | 3 days/week (~32 hours) | On-site West Palm Beach Growth path toward full-time as practice expands 1099 or W-2 — structure finalized with the right candidate 401(k) | PTO/sick days | Malpractice covered Immediate hire The application and hiring process for this position will be managed through NPHub Hire, a nurse practitioner and physician assistant job board connecting APPs with top opportunities nationwide. #J-18808-Ljbffr NPHire
