Travel IR Technologist — Interventional Radiology

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Bradenton, Florida. Job Details Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 hours Shift: 8 hours, days Employment type: Travel Responsibilities As an IR Tech, you will operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. You will prepare and observe patients and report abnormal activity. Tasks Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to assure adequate safeguards. Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to IR procedures to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) national certification and state‑specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Compensation and Notes Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
