Senior Commercial Estimator: Fast-Paced Bidding & Takeoffs

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients in the Greensboro area. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented estimating professional with strong commercial construction experience, particularly in hard bid/public market projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the construction bidding process, strong takeoff experience, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Position Highlights Pay: $75,000–$105,000, based on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Employment Type: Direct Hire Location: Greensboro, NC Responsibilities Prepare estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects Perform project takeoffs, including on-screen takeoffs Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents Solicit subcontractor and vendor bids Compile complete and accurate project estimatesSupport weekly bidding activity and meet strict bid deadlines Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the estimating process Assist with civil/dirt takeoffs as needed Maintain accuracy, organization, and attention to detail throughout the bidding process Qualifications 5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience preferred Experience with hard bid/public market estimating strongly preferred Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, specifications, and bid documents Experience with project takeoffs and subcontractor bid solicitation Strong computer skills and estimating software experience Sage or Timberline experience preferred Earthwork/civil takeoff experience is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Strong time management, organization, and communication skills Ability to work well with others and meet tight deadlines and personnel #J-18808-Ljbffr
