Senior Business Analyst

5+ years of Business Analysis experience Strong Consumer Products business knowledge Experience with accounting and/or financial sub-ledger systems Strong understanding of royalties, licensing, forecasting, contracts, deals, and related business processes Experience gathering requirements and creating functional documentation/use cases Hands-on experience with UAT coordination, testing, and production support Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience working directly with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision Experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint Plusses: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Technology, or related field CCBA Certification Experience with: Rights Management Contract Management Deal Management Forecasting platforms Product Development applications Media & Entertainment industry experience Experience supporting Consumer Products Licensing organizations Day-to-Day: Serve as the liaison between business users, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors Provide production support by investigating and resolving system issues Analyze business requirements and document functional specifications Lead and participate in requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders Create use cases and requirements documentation Review and validate functional designs with development teams Develop test cases and execute functional testing activities Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Track project status, issues, risks, and escalations Assist with project planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communications Partner with business teams to align technology solutions with strategic objectives Support projects throughout the full SDLC from discovery through implementation Manage communications across business, technical teams, and external vendors Help define project scope, priorities, and ongoing enhancement initiatives Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for a leading Media & Entertainment client supporting its Consumer Products portfolio. The ideal candidate is an experienced Business Analyst with strong Consumer Products domain expertise who can gather and translate complex business requirements into actionable system solutions.
