Role Highlights

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist surgeons in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions via imaging and lab result analysis
• Collaborate with surgical teams to devise and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Offer critical intraoperative support: prepping the operative area, ensuring patient safety, and efficiently managing surgical instruments
• Provide exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound dressing, discharge plans, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a focus on surgery are highly preferred

Licensing & Certification

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
