Avenica has partnered with our customer—an industry-leading insurance group—to hire a Claims professional focused on Workers' Compensation medical-only claims. No prior claims experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive medical claims and policy information to confirm coverage.
• Contact injured claimants, employers, and medical providers to gather the information needed to manage each claim.
• Review and process medical bills and treatment requests within established guidelines.
• Document claim activity accurately and maintain organized claim files.
• Administer benefits timely and appropriately while managing a high-volume caseload.

What You Bring

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least one year of call center, professional office, or similar experience that includes high-volume phone/email correspondence.
• Experience reviewing documentation and applying policies or procedures within defined guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency and responsiveness.
• Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to listen effectively.
