SAGE Dining Services is seeking a reliable Prep Server to join our team at a private school dining hall in Nashville, TN. This team works together to provide dining experiences that inspire minds and foster community among the students, faculty, and staff of the school. We provide our team members with competitive compensation and benefits, continuous training, and room to grow long term!

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Weekends and summers off
• Available overtime for catering events with prior notice

Pay Type:

$17.50 - $20.00 Hourly

What You'll Do:

• Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
• Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile.
• Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes.
• Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
• Clean all work areas and customer service areas on an ongoing basis.
• Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques always (HACCP).
• Assist in training new culinary Team Members.
• Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.

What You'll Need:

• Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail.
• Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station.
• Experience in customer service strongly preferred, but not required.
• Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction.
