Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 10 weeks Shift: 3rd Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations License: Requires current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an AHA approved equivalent Must-Have: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The role incorporates essential functions derived from nursing standards of practice. The nurse must possess professional knowledge of nursing theory and practices. Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations are essential for this position. An associate's degree in nursing is required. While a bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, it is not mandatory. Current state licensure or a multi-state nursing license is necessary for this role.
