Business Manager, Account Manager - High Point, NC

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Business Manager III to serve as primary liaison for pharmaceutical clients, managing strategic relationships and ensuring service delivery within the Pharma Services Group. The role combines account management, project oversight, and business development to support revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Manage client engagements from initial contact through ongoing relationship management and satisfaction
Oversee technology transfers and product launches to ensure seamless execution
Support revenue growth through new business development and strategic opportunity identification
Collaborate across functions to implement solutions and maintain quality and compliance standards
Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and budget management for client accounts

Requirements

Advanced degree plus 3 years pharma/CMO experience, or bachelor's degree plus 5 years industry experience
Proven success in account management, project management, sales, or marketing with client-facing responsibilities
Strong understanding of GMP requirements and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
Proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to manage multiple complex projects
