Financial Analyst

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions currently has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in our Oak Brook, IL headquarters. Reporting to the Controller, this position provides a variety of analytical support to the senior leadership team. This is a high visibility position with significant opportunity to provide meaningful insights to the senior leadership team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively support and contribute to the Annual Budgeting process, including developing budgets by working with team members and department heads Prepare complex ad-hoc reporting and analysis as assigned Assist the CEO with M&A – financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction integration Prepare analyses, forecasts, and other reports for banks and investors Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting department Support Accounting team as needed Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Data-driven mindset with advanced Excel skills and Bower BI preferred Strong analytical, problem solving, and deduction skills Ability to understand operations and sales and the financial results they create Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting all deadlines High level of integrity and professionalism and the ability to maintain confidential information Excellent written and oral communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Personal integrity and commitment to individual and team accountability Detail-oriented and committed to 100% accuracy of all information Strong IT skills including an understanding of ERP systems; experience with IT systems upgrades or implementations is a plus Experience with operational accounting in a professional service, legal, or consulting company preferred Experience in a rapid growth environment preferredExperience in a high transactional volume business is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to adhere to LAUNCH’s Mission and Values

MINIMUM EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Must be 21 years of age 3-5 years of financial or accounting work experience Advanced level Microsoft excel Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, PowerPoint) Public accounting experience preferred with Big 4 experience a plus Previous experience in Aviation or Manufacturing is preferred CPA preferred
