Position Description Our Panera Bread cafes are upscale, friendly cafes which feature baked breads and pastries. We serve made‑to‑order soups, salads, sandwiches and specialty espresso beverages. No Fryers and No Late Nights. We’re known for our artisan breads, quality soups, salads and sandwiches which results in a grease and alcohol‑free environment for our associates. As a manager, this means no late nights, but we do hope you’re a morning person. Team Manager Responsibilities Provide outstanding leadership to the team. Coach, counsel, and inspire others to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Maintain high standards of restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality and safety. Recruit, train, motivate staff and coordinate operations during scheduled shifts. Serve as a role‑model, ensuring great customer service and a consistent positive customer experience. Oversee business performance and achieve objectives while maintaining company guidelines and cultural values. Ensure a safe, secure and healthy environment by following all safety and sanitation standards. Perform opening, mid‑and closing shift duties and conduct table visits to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist bakery‑cafe specialists, ensuring team members are fully competent in all aspects of food service. Represent and embody Flynn Group’s values and beliefs. Essential Duties Restaurant management combines strategic planning, shift organization and day‑to‑day management activities. At Panera Bread, management is fast‑paced, highly demanding and very rewarding. Qualifications At least 1–2 years hospitality experience. Food management certifications a plus. Strong organizational, customer service and time‑management skills. Proven track record for leadership and ability to work under pressure. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Reference checks performed. Passion, energy and a positive attitude. Physical Standards Must be able to stand and walk for up to ten (10) hours. Must safely lift up to 50 pounds. Must read and write for communication. Must possess finger and hand dexterity for small tools. Compensation and Benefits Team Manager Compensation Range: $19.00 - $25.00 / hour.
