Location: Temple, TX - Baylor Scott & White Clinic - 2401 South 31st Street, Temple, TX 76508 Specialty: Endoscopy Shift: Full-time, Day Shift Job Summary As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system, preventing complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills. Essential Functions of the Role Use careful clinical judgment to assess and prioritize patient needs, creating and adjusting care plans for better outcomes. Continuously evaluate nursing practices to ensure quality and effectiveness, tracking indicators, implementing changes based on research, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Educate patients and staff, integrating education into care at all levels. Apply systems thinking strategies and resources to solve problems for patients, families, and staff. Enhance nursing practice and work environment through professionalism, contributing to decision‑making and recognizing others’ contributions meaningfully. Key Success Factors Deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, procedures, and departmental policies. Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and professional standards, including certification and accreditation requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
