CT Technologist

Responsibilities Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients. Monitor patient’s well‑being during exams; recognize and respond to patient discomfort or medical problems. Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner. Guide patients through the process, kindly talking them through the steps and answering questions and concerns regarding exam procedures. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients. Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information. Safeguard on‑site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements. Respect company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals. Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting professional behavior toward patients and coworkers. Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions. Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting. Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships. Qualifications State regulations may necessitate certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and ARRT (CT). BLS certification depending on state regulations.
