Skilled - Press Brake Operator

Position Title: Press Brake Operator Wage: $47,840-$54,080/year Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm We are seeking a Press Brake Operator to operate press brake equipment in a manufacturing and fabrication environment. This position is a great opportunity for someone with previous press brake or metal fabrication experience who has a solid foundation and is looking to continue developing their skills. This is a direct hire opportunity in Kansas City, MO. Press Brake Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment Follow blueprints, work orders, and setup instructions to accurately form parts Select and install appropriate tooling based on job requirements Make basic machine adjustments as needed throughout production Use measuring instruments to verify bends, dimensions, and finished part quality Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications Troubleshoot basic setup or part issues and make necessary corrections Maintain an organized and safe work area Follow production schedules and communicate any quality or equipment concerns Learn and operate company-specific press brake equipment and controls Press Brake Operator Requirements: Previous press brake or similar metal fabrication experience preferred General understanding of press brake operation, setups, and tooling Ability to read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and measurements Comfortable using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to take direction and work independently once trained Experience with Ermak or CI Bend press brakes is a plus Experience with Delem controllers is a plus but not required Willingness to train on company-specific machines and processes We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr QPS Employment Group
