Licensed Vocational Nurse

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current California LVN/LPN license in good standing
• Previous pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
• Knowledgeable in providing seizure care and executing action plans
• Ability to work 1:1, demonstrating patience and effective communication with students, staff, and families
• Strong organization and documentation skills
• CPR and First Aid Certification (current)
• Willingness to support student needs on the bus as well as in school

Responsibilities:

• Deliver care and support per the student's individualized seizure action plan
• Accompany the student on the bus to ensure safety and well-being during transport
• Monitor and document health information, interventions, and progress
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and family to promote optimal outcomes for the student
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with school and state nursing guidelines

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours weekly, with likely hours from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Start date is as soon as possible, with an assignment running through June 3, 2027.
