SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

* The Materials and Vendor Services Coordinator oversees the day-to-day product inventory operations for designated areas. * Collaborates with medical, research and/or nursing staff and all areas of Support Services including, but not limited to Central Issues, Purchasing, Warehouse, Receiving, Billing, Processing, Clinical Engineering and information systems. * Responsible for inventory functions and product and/or accounting discrepancies as a result of those functions. * Provide daily operational analysis through maintenance of automated information systems.

• Recommends inventory consumption control measures.
• Responsible for determining usage, lead time, safety stock, minimum and

maximum quantity for all inventory as assigned. * Responsible for sourcing and procurement of all supplies and material needed for assigned area. * Work with external vendors and representatives on delivery of items and storage requirements. * Forecasts inventory utilization based on standard acceptable par level.
