Details Work in a 24-bed Progressive Care Unit within a hospital setting Care for a variety of patients including post-op ortho, spine, and GYN surgical patients Support elective cath lab patients post-PCI, post-pacemaker, ablation, cardioversion, and revascularization Manage stroke, CIWA, chest pain, renal failure, and respiratory failure patients Patient ratio of 5:1 Uses tele monitoring and post-op monitoring equipment Set rate cardiac drips used (non-titrating except heparin) EMR system is Meditech / CPN Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment length Requirements Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification Cardiac experience preferred Prior Meditech experience preferred No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provide post-op recovery care for surgical and cath lab patients Join a brand-new, state-of-the-art unit featuring ADA/Bari rooms with in-room Hoyer lifts Work within a friendly, outgoing, and teamwork-oriented unit culture Team includes a mix of experienced and diverse nursing staff Modified self-scheduling process with schedules posted 3 weeks in advance Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-741444.
