Come join the Advisor support team as a Retirement Sales Specialist! In this role you'll work in partnership with the sales team including Internal Wholesalers, and Field Sales Reps to generate and manage pipeline, close sales, and develop mutually profitable advisor and third-party administrator relationships! Here are a few examples of things you'll do: Responsible for internal sales activities for Full-Service Accumulation. Educate and consult with advisors and third-party administrators on successful methods of prospecting, marketing, and selling retirement plans. Develop excellent relationships with advisors and third-party administrators. Evaluate and price prospective business to ensure profitability and suitability to client needs. Prepare advisors to deliver sales presentations to prospective clients. Associate or Bachelor's degree or progress towards relevant licenses, certifications, or a degree, preferred. 2+ years of experience in customer service, financial services, retirement plan operations through work, training, military service, or other education preferred. Knowledge of retirement plans designs and regulations, retail, and institutional investment products, etc is preferred. Previous experience working in a sales capacity is highly desired Successful Registration as an Investment Company Products/Variable contracts Limited Representative (FINRA Series 6 or equivalent and FINRA Series 63) within 5 months of employment. Resident Life appointment must be attained within 4 months of employment. Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $24.21 - $37.55 / hour Salary Details The following locations are examples of market-specific salary ranges across different geographies. Des Moines, IA: $24.21 - $32.43 / hour Denver, CO: $28.03 - $37.55 / hour Time Off Program Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Pension Eligible Yes Location(s) This role is hiring in Des Moines, IA and Denver, CO and offers in-office and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), work arrangements. You'll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors. Management reserves the right to adjust the days required in office.
