Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Zachary, Louisiana

This contract role offers the opportunity to work alongside a skilled team dedicated to advanced cardiac, peripheral, vascular, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR) procedures.


Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts, 5x8-Hour (06:45 - 15:15)
• Every other weekend required
• Call up to 3 times/week, including some weekend and weekday coverage; 30-minute response time required

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience (travelers must have previous travel assignment history)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and active LSRTBE state license (temporary licenses may be processed if applied within 48 hours of signing)
• Demonstrated expertise in embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants including ports, pacemakers, and ICDs
• Skilled in the use of Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
• Experience responding to Code STEMI with a focus on FTB/DTB less than 60 minutes
• Capable of handling both peripheral and EP procedures
• Proven ability to work independently, manage urgent situations, and prioritize patient care

• Confidently perform all Cath Lab procedures with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with team members to ensure best outcomes for patients
• Participate in an equitable call rotation and emergency response teams as needed
• Adhere to facility protocols, including EMR documentation with EPIC using Cupid
