OverviewGraduate by Hilton Princeton is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Barista to join our team and create memorable guest experiences through exceptional coffee service. The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, providing warm and engaging service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming cafe environment. This role requires strong multitasking skills, product knowledge, and a passion for hospitality in a fast-paced setting.
ResponsibilitiesGreet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable recommendations
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other cafe equipment safely and efficiently
Accurately process cash and credit card transactions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, service areas, and equipment
Restock supplies including cups, lids, syrups, pastries, and retail items
Monitor product quality and presentation to ensure consistency
Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible service standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to brand standards
Previous barista or food & beverage experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee beverages a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail
Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
