Role Description: The Automotive Sales Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based at Scott Volkswagen in East Providence, RI. The Automotive Sales Consultant will greet and engage prospective customers, assess their needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection process for new and pre-owned Volkswagen models. This role includes presenting vehicle features and benefits with product knowledge, arranging and accompanying test drives, and clearly explaining pricing, financing, and leasing options in a transparent manner. The Automotive Sales Consultant will prepare and process sales paperwork accurately, coordinate with finance and service teams, and follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat and referral business. Daily responsibilities include staying current on product updates and incentives and using CRM tools to manage leads and track sales activities.

• Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a commitment to delivering a positive, respectful, and responsive experience to every guest.
• Excellent Communication and Consulting skills, including active listening, clear and confident presentation, and the ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Genuine interest in Automotive products, with the ability to learn and retain detailed information about vehicle features, technology, and benefits.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems and CRM tools to manage leads, document interactions, and complete digital paperwork.
• Prior sales or retail experience is preferred; automotive sales experience is a plus but not required if willing to learn.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and the ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
