Senior On-Site Construction Leader | NYC Projects

Responsibilities Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, and safety standards. Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, making real-time adjustments to meet project milestones and deadlines. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and efficient resource allocation. Monitor and control project budgets, identifying cost‑saving opportunities and minimizing potential overruns. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe and hazard‑free work environment for all on‑site personnel. Conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest level of workmanship and quality throughout the project. Collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to address project challenges and provide progress updates. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and change orders. Identify potential risks and proactively implement measures to mitigate them, ensuring the project's success. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, mentoring and guiding team members to maximize their potential. Qualifications 10 years experience NYCDOB Registration NYC DOB SST Card

OSHA 30

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on‑site teams. Solid understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Detail‑oriented with exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. Proficient in project management software and other relevant tools. OSHA certification is a plus. Education Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
