Database Engineer

Job Summary: We are on the lookout for a dedicated Database Engineer to spearhead the development of our new data foundation. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in crafting robust database architectures, ensuring data security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable database solutions from the ground up, aligning with the company's data strategy.
• Work closely with technical and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of database services.
• Set and enforce baselines for data variances to guarantee data consistency and reliability.
• Implement stringent data security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Utilize AWS tooling expertise to optimize database performance and reliability.
• Apply knowledge of data warehousing best practices, particularly within the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Support data analytics initiatives and application maintenance as part of the team's core functions.

Qualifications:

• Solid background in database engineering, with a focus on data modeling and architecture.
• Exceptional analytical skills for managing complex data structures and workflows.
• Proficiency in AWS services, with hands-on experience being highly desirable.
• Experience with Snowflake and data warehousing technologies.
• Familiarity with Informatica or similar data integration tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed teams, primarily in the US and India.
• Strong communication abilities to liaise with team members in Minneapolis.
• A strong commitment to upholding data privacy and security protocols
