The Day Surgery Charge RN at HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital in Tamarac, FL, is a pivotal role ensuring seamless nursing operations in the pre-operative and day surgery setting. This position involves coordinating care, leading nursing staff, and managing patient flow during daytime shifts without weekend work, offering excellent pay in a supportive environment.

• Type: Permanent / Contingent
• Schedule: Full-time, Days
• Shift: 10-hour shifts, starting at 6:45 AM
• Weekends: No weekends

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee nursing care during assigned shifts.
• Support pre-op, admission, and discharge processes efficiently.
• Monitor quality and deliver patient-centered care.
• Lead and support nursing staff to promote teamwork.
• Assist with staff scheduling and staffing assignments.
• Participate in hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
• Support employee engagement and service recovery initiatives.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and inventory effectively.
• Ensure compliance with nursing policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate Degree in Nursing.
• 3–5 years of pre-op RN experience.
• BLS certification (required within 30 days of employment).
• ACLS certification (required within 30 days of employment).

Pay

• Compensation- $33.49- $48.50 (Based on Experience)
