The Day Surgery Charge RN at HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital in Tamarac, FL, is a pivotal role ensuring seamless nursing operations in the pre-operative and day surgery setting. This position involves coordinating care, leading nursing staff, and managing patient flow during daytime shifts without weekend work, offering excellent pay in a supportive environment.
- Type: Permanent / Contingent
- Schedule: Full-time, Days
- Shift: 10-hour shifts, starting at 6:45 AM
- Weekends: No weekends
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee nursing care during assigned shifts.
- Support pre-op, admission, and discharge processes efficiently.
- Monitor quality and deliver patient-centered care.
- Lead and support nursing staff to promote teamwork.
- Assist with staff scheduling and staffing assignments.
- Participate in hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Support employee engagement and service recovery initiatives.
- Manage supplies, equipment, and inventory effectively.
- Ensure compliance with nursing policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 3–5 years of pre-op RN experience.
- BLS certification (required within 30 days of employment).
- ACLS certification (required within 30 days of employment).

- Compensation- $33.49- $48.50 (Based on Experience)
