System Administrator – Skill Level 2

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our infrastructure operations, tackling meaningful technical challenges every day. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Managing and supporting container and cloud environments — keeping modern infrastructure running smoothly
• Overseeing storage management solutions to ensure reliability and performance
• Supporting and maintaining virtualization platforms across the environment
• Administering IP networking and firewall configurations to maintain secure, stable connectivity
• Working extensively in an all-Linux environment — this is your playground
• Applying a solid understanding of PKI, TLS, cryptography, and crypto policies to uphold security standards
• Providing application support and general troubleshooting to keep systems and users running efficiently
• Supporting SSP compliance and STE/STN requirements on Linux systems — your attention to detail will be valued here

What We're Looking For

You're a hands-on systems administrator who thrives in a Linux-first environment and takes pride in keeping complex systems secure and operational. Specifically, we're looking for:

• 10 years of experience in a relevant technical role, along with a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
• Strong, demonstrable experience with Linux system administration
• Hands-on experience with containers and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure)
• Proficiency in storage management and virtualization technologies
• Solid knowledge of IP networking, routing, and firewall management
• Working knowledge of PKI/TLS/cryptographic principles and security policy implementation
• Experience supporting SSP compliance frameworks and STE/STN processes on Linux systems
• Bonus: Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Bash scripting) — we love candidates who work smarter, not harder
