Job Summary The Student Worker provides support to the assigned department while gaining valuable work experience in a professional environment. This role is intended for students currently enrolled in an accredited institution, offering them an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting. The Student Worker assists with various administrative or operational tasks and is expected to manage their time effectively to balance work and academic commitments. Essential Functions Assists with day-to-day departmental tasks that may include administrative support, data entry, filing, and organizing documents. Supports department staff with specific projects or routine operations, such as preparing reports, updating databases, or creating presentations. Provides customer service and support to employees, students, or external stakeholders. Conducts research and gathers information for department projects or initiatives as assigned. Maintains confidentiality and ensures data accuracy while working with sensitive information. Participates in team meetings and contributes ideas for improving processes or enhancing department functions. Completes assigned tasks on time while maintaining a high standard of work. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Complies with all policies and standards. Qualifications Prior experience is not required, but previous office or administrative experience is a plus Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in basic computer software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
