Purpose To oversee the administration and coordination of medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing. Qualifications Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experence. Must possess a current and valid Registered Nurse license Must possess strong clinical skills with at least 3-year supervisory experience Must possess basic computer skills Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred Essential Functions Coordinates and oversees health services according to the individual’s plan ensuring each individual’s optimal health and wellbeing Supervises nurses and CNAs and provides constructive feedback and training through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoring Creates a positive interacting team which collaboratively works with all disciplines Ensures all documentation is completed according to regulatory requirements Acts as liaison between hospitals and other medical professionals advocating for least restrictive measures and protection of rights Performs all professional duties within the scope of licensure and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act Preforms all other duties as assigned
