Radiology Tech - Orthopedics Float

Job Description

This is a PRN position with DMC Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Dearborn. \n
\n
Hours will be within Monday-Friday from 8-4:30. Some travel required around metro-Detroit. \n
\n
\nUnder the direction of the Physician performs Radiographic examinations for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic surgeons consistent with their perimeters. Clinic work environment.\n
\n
\n

\n
• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs,
\n
• Assesses patients, assist the Physician in performing x-ray procedures, using state of the art DR equipment and processor.
\n
• Maintains patient and departmental records, supplies and equipment.
\n
• Performs other related tasks
\n

Education \n

\nRequired: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program \n
\n
\nPreferred: Associates degree \n
\n
Experience \n
\n
\nPreferred: 1-3 years \n
\n
Certifications \n
\n
\nRequired: ARRT or registry eligible; must have ARRT within one year post graduation; BLS, state license if required \n
\n
