Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Mammographer in Brooklyn, New York. This role involves performing routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors, ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to department standards. The position requires maintaining all required documentation and transmitting images efficiently.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); must meet all Mammography Screening and MQSA requirements; 0 years minimum experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with biopsy and stereo mammography techniques
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include proper radiographic image labeling as per department SOP, evaluating image quality, timely transmission of images to PACS, and accurate recording of patient tracking information in the tracking system. The candidate should demonstrate ability to work effectively and efficiently.
