Location: Gastonia, NC (a leading facility in Gastonia, North Carolina)

Start Date: 04/28/2026

Shift: 20 hours/day coverage (specific shift times will be discussed)

Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours

Employment Type: Full-Time

License/Certifications: NC Nurse Practitioner License (Board Certified in Neonatology)

Experience: Minimum 2+ years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (excluding RN experience)

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced neonatal care within a Level-III NICU environment
• Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary team members to deliver patient-centered care
• Support newborns and their families through complex medical needs and stabilization procedures
• Assist with coverage for the newborn nursery and inpatient neonatal units
• Participate in care planning, family education, and discharge procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and medical records

What You Need

• Valid NC Nurse Practitioner license and Board Certification in Neonatology (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications are not accepted)
• At least 2 years of recent experience as an NNP; RN experience does not count
• Strong clinical skills in neonatal critical care and family communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
