Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every Other Weekend / As Needed | Projected Start: June 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit serving patients of all ages
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient outcomes
• Respond to call requirements and float to other units as needed
• Adhere to facility dress code and maintain a professional standard of conduct at all times

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure valid in the state of North Carolina
• Minimum 1–2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry (MST) experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current CPI, HWC, or MAB certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Joint Commission Accredited facility or Primary Stroke Center environment
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
• Demonstrated ability to work professionally in a fast-paced, multi-specialty acute care setting
