Who you are Metropolis is seeking a Safety Coordinator to provide professional knowledge and expertise in the administration of our safety, health, and environmental programs. In this role, you will assist the Safety team in developing and implementing health and safety initiatives across all business units to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies. The ideal candidate will act as a partner to our operating units, analyzing risk trends and building a robust safety culture that empowers our teams to operate safely and efficiently. This position requires a collaborative spirit and the ability to travel approximately 25% of the time within the United States and Canada. What you'll do Drive operational implementation of safety initiatives and processes to build an organization-wide safety culture Analyze risk information to identify trends, prioritize initiatives, and evaluate performance Evaluate and distribute dashboards and metrics that measure the effectiveness of safety and training programs Collaborate with operating units to support compliance and monitor adherence to Metropolis safety policies Research and draft new policies and guidelines in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations Utilize the Risk Management Information System to analyze statistics and facilitate timely sharing of incident information Review safety practices to ensure they are current and conduct regular hazard and risk assessments Provide recommendations to Risk Management to amend safety policies and procedures as necessary #J-18808-Ljbffr metropolis.io
