Job Description

Masani Pizza is looking for an experienced, reliable, and hardworking Pizza Maker to join our team! We are seeking someone who takes pride in making high-quality, delicious pizza and can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a New York-style pizzeria, pays close attention to detail, and can consistently produce excellent pizzas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stretch, and hand-toss pizza dough.
• Make traditional New York-style, Sicilian, and specialty pizzas.
• Properly sauce, cheese, and top pizzas according to our recipes.
• Operate and manage pizza ovens, ensuring consistent cooking quality.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain proper food storage.
• Handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies are running low.
• Follow all NYC food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with general kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous professional pizza-making experience required.
• Strong knowledge of dough handling, stretching, and pizza oven operation.
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to work well with other kitchen staff.
• Comfortable working evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen.
