Yard Drivers are the center of supply chain cross docking in the Carter LOGISTEED Network and play a vital role in the manufacturing of popular brands of vehicles seen on the road today. Yard Drivers require attention to detail, ability to perform in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Attention to safety and 5s standards are trained and required. Necessary processes to complete job are trained./pp*No Freight Handling *No OTR *Home Daily/ppPrimary movement of 53 dry vans/ppBase 45-hour week plus overtime/ppWeekend requirements may apply with advanced notice./ppHigh School Diploma or GED required./ppCurrent CDL required. Must be self-driven with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and work in a team environment. Must be able to follow given directions to complete tasks and maintain a clean and safe working environment./pp21+ years old/ppCurrent CDL A/pp1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience/ppNo DUI/OWI in the past 5 years/ppYou will need to follow all correct and proper PPE requirements set for entering the dock area. Such as but not limited to, wearing a reflective vest, shirt, or jackets.
