As a Security Shift Supervisor , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Security Shift Supervisor will function as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range. Pay Rate: $19/ per hour. Required, ability to use a computer or tablet. Required, comfortable working outdoors in all elements of the weather for the entire shift. Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. Responsibilities: security Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site. Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support. Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property. Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees. Provide customer service to our clients by conducting safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, if appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Must possess effective written and oral communication and people skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines. Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and log in neat, legible handwriting. Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions. Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites. Ability to manage both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
