Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) ARRT (MR) certification required. 5+ years MRI technologist experience; 2+ years in a lead/supervisory role preferred. Strong knowledge of MRI safety and outpatient imaging workflows. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Summary The MRI Modality Manager oversees daily operations of outpatient MRI services, ensuring safe, high‑quality imaging and an excellent patient experience. This role provides leadership to technologists, standardized protocols, and supports strong relationships with radiologists, staff, and referring providers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs technologist duties, including scanning, in various locations throughout all CMI locations. Clinical modality educator to ensure all modality technologists are trained efficiently and quality of care is the same throughout CMI. Manages all MRI Technologist schedules, callouts, and PTO requests. Evaluates each modality technologist quarterly on peer‑to‑peer imaging quality. Discusses results with technologists on best practices and provider clinical feedback. Provides CME credits to modality technologists. Delegates and oversees MRSO and protocol responsibilities as needed. Periodic rounding among MRI sites, company‑wide. Periodic image reviews to assess clinical competency in MRI. Keeps abreast on scanning protocols and updates. Liaison for all student clinicals. Performs other duties as necessary.
