Division:Solutions Job Posting Title: Senior P&O Business Partner Time Type: Full Time SUMMARY The Sr HR Business Partner position is part of an Onsite HR Team with a particular focus on the delivery of a full spectrum of human resource programs. This HR Business Partner will be responsible for providing HR leadership and guidance to the Contract Logistics/Solutions divisions. This position will serve as a HRBP to the travel teams and will sit inside of one of our warehouse locations in Henderson, NV area. The Sr HRBP will oversee the administration of hiring, retention, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, compensation, benefits, payroll, orientation and training as well as additional administrative functions. The Sr HRBP will be responsible for ensuring that the needs of the travel teams are being met and work to appropriate his/her time accordingly in coordination with site management. ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES Implements,interpretsand administers personnel and labor relations programs, projects, tasks, or initiatives that align with company goals and objectives. Responsibilities include employment, employee relations, labor relations, compensation administration, performance management, benefits, recognition, training and planning of staffing requirements and workforce communications. Must be visible and accessible. Mayinclude site visits at various timesof the year. Effectively administers existing programsin accordance withpolicies and procedures including Equal Employment Opportunity, and Affluent Action compliance. Manages monitors and ensures administration and compliance with company policies, practices and procedures that affect the organizational unit such as employee safety, workers’compensation,and OSHA compliance. Provides leadership and guidance to employees, peers, and management on workforce goals andobjectivesby sharing best practices. Provides clear, effective,timely,and constructive feedback on interviewing techniques, effective labor relations, employee communications, new hire orientation, and training programs. Responsible for supervisory training, supervisory skill improvement, and excellence in supervision on a continuum. Recruites, Hires, trains, evaluates, and terminates assigned personnel. Provides clear, effective, timely and constructive feedback to employees, peers and management on interviewing techniques, effective labor relations, employee communications, new hire orientation, and training programs. Manages human resource administration to ensure the effective implementation of proceduresregardingnew hires, promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, grievanceprocess, and terminations. Ensuresthat personnel files are properlymaintained. Manages all specific unit activities including frequent contact with inter-organizational and outside agency representatives concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects or programs. Participates in meetings with internal and external representatives concerning specific human resource projects oroperationsincluding due diligence and assimilation processes. Usesinternal-external customer feedback tomonitorthe status of projects and toidentifyproblems with work processes. Confirms mutual understanding with customers to develop and implement process improvements that improve the quality,quantityand timeliness of assigned tasks. OTHER DUTIES MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience Bachelor'sdegree in human resources, business ora relatedfield and7years’ experience working in Human Resource field required or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Must havestrong employee relations and performance management experience – minimum 5 years. Must have strong recruitment experience – minimum 5 years. Must have minimum 2 years freight forwarding/Transportation industry experience or experience in a 4PL/Contract Logistics environment. SKILLS,KNOWLEDGEAND ABILITIES Computer Skills Strongproficiencyin basicMS Office applications ExperienceusingHRIS systems(SAP Success Factors a plus) Experienceusinghelpdesk ticket systems (Zendesk a plus) Language Skills English (reading, writing and verbal) Mathematical Skills Intermediate Other Skills General working knowledge of human resources, management skills, problem solving, conflict resolution, consulting skills, decision making skills, financial, analytical skills, and influence skills. Knowledge of ERISA, employment, and labor laws and regulationsrequired. Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills withthe ability to motivate others. The ability to work both independently and as a part of a team with enthusiasm,initiativeand creativity. Able toattend todetail, work under pressure, and prioritize. Ability tomaintaina high levelof confidentiality andhandle sensitivesituationswith compassion and dignity. Must be able to deal with ambiguity,cope withchangeandflexible with shifting priorities. TRAVEL Travel will be necessary up to 50% of the time, domestically and generally by airplane. For this position, the expected base pay range is $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
