Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotation | 36 Hours per Week | 7:00 AM start on Days, 7:00 PM start on Nights | Every 3rd weekend as needed | Every other holiday | 1 call shift per schedule period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients across a broad range of surgical specialties including general, gynecology, genitourinary, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
• Function competently in both scrub and circulating roles across at least 5 surgical service lineshistorically
• Operate within a 17-room OR suite staffed 24/7, maintaining readiness for day and night shift assignments
• Float to an additional OR location as needed
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety, effective communication, and positive outcomes throughout the perioperative process

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient Operating Room experience
• Competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical service lines
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, flexible attitude

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level 1 trauma OR experience strongly preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Experience in neurosurgery and vascular surgery preferred
• Experience beyond scrub general, gynecology, and genitourinary services preferred
