Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios of 6:1 Description: This position involves providing care in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Nurses will work with a wide variety of patient diagnoses, including complex admissions. Candidates must be comfortable floating between units and handling diverse patient needs. Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend. Holidays may also be scheduled as needed. Daily census includes a minimum of 10 boarders, with the potential for up to 40. Patient care will be provided within the scope of practice in an emergency and medical/surgical environment. Nurses will need skills in managing telemetry and a variety of clinical procedures. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and social services, is essential. Candidates should have experience with electronic charting systems. Familiarity with trauma care at various levels is also preferred. Position requires active engagement in patient assessments and implementing appropriate care plans. All applicants must possess the required certifications and an active license.
