Provides healthcare services for an 11-county service area. State-of-the-art facility offering cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery. Employs over 1,200 healthcare professionals and support personnel. Has more than 170 physicians representing 38 medical specialties. The largest private employer in the region. Unit Profile: Pediatrics. Position Information: Role - RN. Number of Openings: 1. Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36. Weekend Hours: 2 weekend shifts per month. Call Requirements: Yes. Float Requirements: Yes, mother/baby well baby. Unit Information: Number of Beds: 8. Patient Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1 depending on acuity. Equipment: EHR - Meditech. Patient Population: Pediatrics, newborn to 17 years. Hiring Profile: Self-motivated. Strong assessment skills. Ability to multitask. Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Failure to thrive. Hyperbilirubinemia. Bronchiolitis. RSV. Respiratory distress. Nausea/Vomiting. Post-operative care T&A. Required Education: RN. Dress Code: Scrub Color - Royal Blue. No unacceptable attire. Position created as a replacement for permanent staff.
