Manufacturing & Electrical Engineer II at Thermo Fisher Scientific supports new product introduction and continuous improvement for electron microscopy manufacturing in Hillsboro, Oregon. The role involves process development, data analysis, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration in cleanroom and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Support New Product Introduction projects from initiation through release following Product Management Process
Collect and analyze product and manufacturing data to identify design and process improvement opportunities
Develop and improve manufacturing processes including build procedures and preventative maintenance plans
Provide electrical and system-level troubleshooting during product builds and in manufacturing environments
Prepare and deliver training for Manufacturing, Technical Support, and Service personnel on product procedures

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
1+ years experience as Operations, Process, or Electrical Engineer in related field
Experience preparing technical documentation, procedures, and engineering reports
Data analysis skills and knowledge of experimental methods and test protocols
Experience with failure analysis and complex problem-solving
Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical equipment
HTML and scripting experience
