Class A - CDL Driver/Warehouse

? Budd Lake, NJ | Direct Hire | $24-$28/hr

Zing Recruiting is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Warehouse Receiver to join a growing food manufacturing team in Budd Lake, NJ. This hands-on role is primarily responsible for receiving and processing inbound shipments while also supporting warehouse operations and making local Class A CDL deliveries and transfers between facilities.

• Receive and unload inbound FTL and LTL shipments.
• Inspect incoming products for damage and verify quantities.
• Review driver paperwork and confirm lot numbers.
• Receive inventory into the Acctivate system using the correct purchase orders.
• Scan and maintain receiving documentation.
• Communicate with the Warehouse Manager regarding incoming shipments.
• Assist with outbound shipments, warehouse transfers, inventory organization, and general warehouse operations.
• Transport raw materials and finished goods between facilities and distribution centers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain DOT logs, fuel/toll receipts, and delivery documentation.
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report equipment defects, accidents, or safety concerns.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• 2+ years of forklift operating experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and scissor lifts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Clean driving record with no recent moving violations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs .
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and production environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, extended shifts, and occasional weekends.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
