Location: Hybrid (multiple) Rate: $20 per hour About the Role We’re looking for high-performing current high school students to join us as Marketing & Business Development Interns (Student Ambassadors). This is a unique opportunity to gain experience across all aspects of Marketing at a fast-growing company. Interns will support the development of our social media strategy; the execution of field marketing events; and the infrastructure to communicate with our vast alumni network. You’ll play a key role in driving brand awareness, increasing referrals, and engaging local community. What You’ll Do In-Person (30%) Attend local private dinners hosted by Empowerly, representing the company to prospective students and families. Share your personal Empowerly story in an authentic, compelling way at local events. Periodically travel to in-person meetings to create content with our social media team. Remote (70%) Develop unique and effective outreach campaigns with the Events team to share your Empowerly story with your personal networks. Create engaging social media content (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) that reflects your experience with the Social Media Content team. Pitch and execute ideas for webinars, events, and social media campaigns by and for Empowerly students. Advise the Events and Lifecycle Marketing Teams around local context, event creation, and lead engagement in your area. Help manage lead capture processes and data entry into CRM systems. Share feedback and insights on what students and families care about. Who Should Apply Required: Currently residing in, or willing to travel to, the Bay Area, Boston, New York City, or Princeton. Experience in community building and organizing events around specific causes, communities, or goals. Experience creating social media content that keeps on top of current trends on Instagram and TikTok. Comfortable sharing your Empowerly experience in personal and professional networks and settings. Preferred: Experience with HubSpot, Airtable, or WordPress. Video editing experience. Local geographical knowledge of the Bay Area, New York City, Boston, or LA.
