Pharmacist | Portage, Wisconsin

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist with retail experience to support pharmacy operations in Portage, WI. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extension or direct hire, providing an excellent chance to contribute your expertise in a dynamic retail setting.


Schedule and Location:

• Days, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Possible every other Saturday
• Based in Portage, WI

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and possible side effects
• Utilize Pioneer RX system for prescription processing and inventory management
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure compliance with all regulations
• Maintain thorough records and documentation as required

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy License
• Proven experience working in a retail pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Agreements:

• Required to have signed agreements prior to assignment commencement
